In order to create a fantastic, authentic cup of coffee, the roasted bean must be freshly ground to extract the complex blend of flavours found within. After grinding, the fragrant oils within the bean are released, and immediately begin to evaporate. Of the 800 different flavour compounds found in coffee, 50% of these will evaporate within 30 minutes — compromising the final flavour infusion.

The wear-resistant grinders in CrushGrind® are exceptional for grinding coffee, as the ceramic material avoids the contamination that can occur using metal grinding surfaces, maintaining the purity of the extracted flavour profile.
